John Murphy's Celebration of Life Expenses

Hello, my name is Mindy and I am fundraising for good friends of ours John and Connie Murphy. John is the father of four children, 7 grandchildren, the breadwinner to his wife and family. John is 56 years old and very suddenly became ill. Over the Thanksgiving holiday John woke up thinking he was having a stroke because his tongue was numb. After a couple more days of pain all over he went to primary doctor and was rushed to Emergency Room. Tests completed revealed his heart to be fine, but the ever unexpected devastating news that he has cancer spreading rapidly throughout his body. It is in his brain, neck, vocal cords, lungs and spine. John has an appointment at Moffit on Monday to find out more details of his diagnoses. He does work and has health insurance but his deductible is $7000 per year. Connie works for very limited income and will need to stop working to care for him and their home. Please if anyone can help this family this Christmas season and help so that John can atleast be able to get what ever treatment is necessary to continue to be healthy for his wife and family and friends.
