John Neuroth Medical

On July 4th, John fell down the stairs in his home and stopped breathing. He was initially taken to McHenry hospital but was immediately flown  to a level 1 trauma hospital. In the fall he fractured his skull and neck.  The severe bleeding caused intercranial pressure and he had emergency craniectomy and part of his frontal lobe was removed. He was then transferred to the surgical ICU. It is now July 12th and he is in the ICU still fighting for his life in a coma. I am starting this go fund me page to help with the medical bills that are compiling currently and for the care he will need once he can finally be discharged. Any bit will help. Please keep my father in your prayers.

UPDATE: Hello everyone,

I want to start off saying my dad was a wonderful kind soul who lived life to the fullest. I love him so much. He will be deeply missed by so many of us. We are all in a place of disbelief and acceptance so I do ask please keep our family in your thoughts.

I am making this post to clarify today was the day we made the decision to stop taking Extraordinary means to keep my father here. The doctors explained to us that mentally my dad would not be coming back with any kind of adequate life conditions or abilities. He has not passed yet but will comfortably in the next few days. We will keep everyone posted about when to except the processions. Thank you for all the kind words and support. Touch the sky for me Dad I love you. Let’s just try to remember that he is going home to God.

Thank you.
