Hi, I'm David Benson, a Special Education teacher at John O'Connell High School in San Francisco's Mission District. This year, I'm serving as our school's Associated Student Body (ASB) Coordinator. Our Junior & Senior Prom is happening on May 10, 2024. Your donation will go directly toward prom venue rental, a DJ, decorations, snacks, etc. and into a fund that will allow for reduced prom ticket prices for our students.

O'Connell is a diverse public school, with the vast majority of our students representing underserved communities. 85% of our student body are students of color. 25% of our students are English Learners. 23% of our students receive Special Ed services. 13% of our students are homeless.
