John Oravets' House Fire

On December 7th, while John was in the hospital recovering from hip surgery he was informed that his house was on fire. By the time he got to the scene, his house was completely engulfed and everything was destroyed. John is grateful that his wife Kathryn and his dogs escaped and no lives were lost other than his precious Koi.

This house was their dream come true and they opened it and shared it with friends and neighbors, including hosting Long Island Sun Chaser parties twice a year. John's decorations made his house a local favorite at Halloween and Christmas. Now it is all destroyed.

John wants you to know that he will rebuild and you will all be invited to his first party, because bringing people together is what he loves to do. That's his positive attitude, but as you can imagine, there is a tremendous amount to work through.
