John P Seymore, III Culinary Scholarship Week
John P. Seymore, III is a son of Damascus, Virginia and his roots ran deep in the culture and grandeur of this magical place. John opened Mojo’s Trailside Café and Coffee in 2015 and within five years, he transformed his small coffee shop into a widely acclaimed fine-dining restaurant. On March 22, 2020, he was killed in a motorcycle accident. The John P. Seymore, III Scholarship Fund provides aid to local aspiring chefs so they can enroll in the culinary program at Southwest Virginia Community College and gain the skills needed to become successful.
The Wicked Chicken Winghouse and Tavern, Inc., hosts an annual John P. Seymore, III Culinary Scholarship Week. To date they have raised enough money for one scholarship each year since 2021. This year’s goal is to raise enough funds for two scholarships.
Thank you for your consideration and support of this amazing project!
Sincerely,
