The family of actor, writer, director John Paragon — best known as 'Jambi The Genie' on Pee-wee’s Playhouse and ‘The Breather’ on Elvira’s Movie Macabre — is calling on friends and fans to contribute to his interment at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, Ca.
John Paragon passed away on April 3, 2021. From his early years with The Groundlings Theatre, to writing, directing, and performing in numerous television series and specials, John’s contribution to the entertainment industry with his quick wit and talent is immeasurable.

John’s sister, Mary Paragon Roberts is the organizer of this fundraiser and is accepting donations to pay for John’s interment at the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery, in a glass niche located in the “Haven of Devotion”, where those who loved and appreciated him will be able to pay their respects for years to come.
A private memorial service for the family is also being planned. We will update this page with further details.
All contributions no matter how small are greatly appreciated. Long live Jambi!
