In Memory of John Glaves: Support for the Glaves Family

Hi, my name is Emily and I am an in-law to the Glaves family.

In the spring of 2023, John Paul Glaves was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. On November 5, after a strong fight, John passed away. John was known for his intelligence, strength, humour, and compassion. He loved spending time with his family, hockey, and Costco. He especially loved coaching his son's hockey team.

Mel and John were married for 14 years and have raised two amazing children together. Mel and John always support their friends and family, and lead with kindness and empathy. Now it is our turn to help them.

This money is being raised to help the Glaves family. Whether it is to cover the costs of the funeral, day to day expenses, or for the kids’s education, this money will alleviate some stress for Mel during this extremely difficult time.
