John Paul Jude Marchetti

Baby John Paul Jude Marchetti — newborn son of Angela and John Paul Marchetti and little brother to Antonio, Gemma and Giuseppe — has been seeing a variety of doctors and medical specialists to diagnose and treat some emerging health issues he is experiencing, namely dermal malformation and capillary malformation which may be due to Sturge Weber Syndrome and is causing glaucoma in his eyes. He is scheduled for his first surgery in Boston on Tuesday, August 10; this will likely be the first of multiple surgeries that will be required to help his eyes and save his vision.

The Marchetti family is immensely grateful for the love, support and prayers that they have already received from their family, friends and neighbors, and they request ongoing prayers, particularly through the intercession of St. Jude, for their sweet little boy’s speedy and complete recovery. In addition, please pray for John Paul Jude’s team of doctors; there are only four doctors in the U.S. who perform this eye surgery on children.
