John Paul Orton (Funeral Service Expenses)

Our beloved John recently passed on December 7. John was a wonderful husband, step-father, brother and uncle who touched the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind his wife, Tanya; his stepdaughter, Stephanie; his siblings, Nora and David and several nieces and nephews.

John was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he proudly served in Vietnam. He passed from complications arising from cancer treatment as he was exposed to Agent Orange during the war.

John dedicated his life to learning. He studied photography and archaeology, and he was an avid reader of mysteries and science fiction. He was also a big collector of sports memorabilia as well as coins, and he often enjoyed presenting educational programs at a local elementary school.

We are all devastated by John’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our final goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of John’s funeral. We need to raise $3,500.00 by Dec. 13 (2022) in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
