John Penrose emergency fund

We are fundraising for John Penrose and his family.

John is a long time emergency physician in the state of North Carolina. He has touched many of our lives both professionally and socially over the years. I think we can all agree that John embodies the characteristics of caring, giving, and self-sacrifice.

John unfortunately suffered an emergent medical issue that is requiring an extended stay in the intensive care unit. This issue was sudden and completely unexpected. John's family is working through the emotional and financial side of this tragedy.

Emergency Medicine is an exceedingly honorable specialty, but is also one that is dependent upon working shifts from a financial aspect.
