In the early hours of May 19, 2024 the car community suffered a profound loss with the tragic passing of John Phipps aka Panda due to senseless gun violence. At just 26 years old, hailing from Waldorf, MD, John's passion for cars was ingrained in his very being since birth. To him, cars weren't just vehicles; they were vessels that fostered a sense of community and belonging for all who shared his passion.
John was more than just an enthusiast; he was a beacon of warmth and kindness, a gentle giant who touched the lives of everyone he encountered. As a co-founder of Hallow Squad Car Club, his dedication to his craft and his community was unmatched. His infectious spirit and love for life knew no bounds, and his favorite color, pink, was a testament to his vibrant personality.
Sadly, John's journey was cut short, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. In the wake of this devastating loss, we come together to honor his memory and support his family during this difficult time.
This GoFundMe campaign is dedicated to assisting with the immediate expenses associated with funeral and burial services, alleviating the financial burden as they navigate through this heartbreaking ordeal.
Your contributions, no matter how big or small, will make a tangible difference in helping John's mom ( Kimberly Harris ) and family give him the dignified farewell he deserves. Let us unite as a community, just as John would have wanted, to honor his legacy and provide solace to those he leaves behind.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and for keeping John's spirit alive in our hearts.
