If you know John Pickett (aka JP, JohnBoy, Pickett, etc), you know that he has the finest heart in the world. To be his friend is to know that you always have someone in your corner, someone who will love and support you however he can, someone who will make you laugh and smile even in the darkest of times. Well, friends, now it's our turn. On January 12th, that beautiful heart will undergo surgery to correct a very serious valve defect. Afterwards, John will face a long period of therapy and rest.
