John Pochis' Cancer Treatment Journey

Hello everyone, I'm Stacie. I would like the opportunity to tell you about some dear friends of mine. John and Stacey Pochis have recently been through some trauma that they never saw coming and now are dealing with the aftermath it has caused. On August 1st of this year, John was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the mouth. John has never smoked or used chewing tobacco so you can imagine the shock he and Stacey had to hear this. He underwent extensive surgery at Tampa General Hospital on September 9th. Surgeons had to remove a good portion of his tongue along with 42 lymphnodes in his neck. Further testing revealed cancer in John's lymph nodes, for which he will require radiation treatment. He will have to undergo treatment five times a week for six weeks. John worked right up until the day of his surgery but has not been able to return to work since. The soonest he will be able to return is January 2023. His Wife, Stacey, is working extra but is struggling to keep up with bills and expenses of living. The medical bills are coming in steady as well. John and Stacey have had to sell most of what they have in order to make rent and keep the most important bills afloat. I am asking you, with this post, to please find it in your hearts to share whatever you can spare with this couple. Even a little bit helps. There is no amount too small. I want to thank you in advance for putting yourselves in this couple's shoes and for caring enough to make even a small difference in John's recovery. With then holidays upon us, John and Stacey don't see it possible to keep rent paid much less to provide a Christmas for their family. I feel that you and i can pull together to help this family.
