John Richard Amundsen III passed away after a long battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his family and his faithful dog Murphy. He was well loved and will always be in our hearts. John was only 49 and struggled for many years with surgeries and doctor appointments one after another. His wife, Erin, lovingly provided care for him and their children through thick and thin. She never complained or asked for very much help. She just loved him and gave her all to him. John leaves behind his wife, Erin, and their three children, a son, who requires 24 hour care, and two beautiful daughters.

This is going to be a difficult time for the family. We have created this GoFundMe page for the Amundsen family as they will have funeral and future expenses to deal with. This will ease Erin's burden as she continues to care for her disabled son and two daughters.

John's funeral will be Saturday, August 20th. We will post a link for more information once it is available.
