John Romo founder of Haircuts and Hope

Hello , my name is Denise Romo, and I am Johns wife of 25 wonderful years we met each other at the young ages of 17 and 18 and were married with in 3 months of meeting♥️ He was a barber and loved and was very good at doing his job . In 2016 he wanted to give back to the community and was thinking about different ways to do so . He said he wanted to do haircuts for the homeless, which is exactly what he did . We put together Haircuts and Hope in 2016 and it started with him and a few other barbers and stylists who gave free haircuts to the Lubbock community, with a free meal and hygiene , clothing and blossomed into much more than we ever imagined, we did also help children’s home of Lubbock a few times donating haircuts there also , we are a nonprofit completely self funded charity. With a very sad heart my husband passed this Saturday surrounded by all of his loved ones .. please consider donating even if it’s a few dollars to help give him the best celebration of life ever !
