John Rote, TALE OF THE SUBWAY 'SAVIOR'

John Rote, age 43 – kind hearted son, nephew, cousin, friend, coworker, and gainfully employed with the same company for the last 17 years came to the aid of a woman in distress in the NY Subway Tuesday night. She was apparently being attacked by a mugger who has had a history of arrests. John was arrested after trying to come to the aid of the young woman.

He was unnecessarily detained/jailed from Wednesday, November 8th until Friday morning the 10th for being a good Samaritan. John has no criminal history and no mental health issues. John was being an upstanding citizen trying to do the “right thing.”
