John Sherrell

John Sherrell is a former member and President of IBEW Local 569 in San Diego, California. He is a current member with Local 46 out of Seattle, Washington, and has worked as a gear foreman with Prime Electric since 2021. Shortly after relocating to Seattle two years ago, he was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. This disease is very aggressive and John is already wheelchair bound and unable to walk. Sadly, he had to retire from his beloved electrical /eld in September. One thing John is really wanting to do before he becomes completely immobile is to go back to San Diego and make a desert run with his IBEW 569 brothers and sisters. We are raising money to bring him back so he can ride in the desert one last time. We are also raising money to help his family (Lillian who is 14, Logan who is 11, and wife Emalie) during this time of need and to help John make his new home ADA compliant.
