John Skidmore: First Responder Needs Our Help

A dear friend of mine, John Skidmore has been a First Responder for Pinellas County for over 20 years. More lovingly known as "Skid", his world was turned upside down when he recently lost his beloved soulmate, Tammie, on Valentine's Day. Devastatingly, he had no time to grieve before he, himself, began suffering from a medical emergency that placed him in the hospital just mere weeks following her passing. After 17 days in the hospital, he has just returned home. With financial obligations of his wife's funeral, his own medical bills, mortgage, and general expenses, this is an extreme added stress. We are looking for help in the form of donations to assist Skid on the physical recovery journey he is beginning.

This is a chance to take care of one of our own as well as for the community to give back to someone who helps those on their worst days.
