John Stapleton's liver transplant
Donation protected
Dear friends and supporters,
One of our dearest friends and long-time employee, John Stapleton, desperately needs a liver transplant. The exact cause of the liver failure is uncertain but doctors are saying that his body is attacking his liver and it has failed over the last few months. He is being treated at Stanford in Palo Alto, Ca. with stage 4 liver failure.
Since this wasn't due to any lifestyle choices such as alcohol or substance abuse and due to the seriousness of his condition the doctors put him on a fast track list for a transplant. We weren't certain of how long it would take but miraculously we just received word that he will receive a liver tonight or at the latest, this weekend!!! This is truly a miracle as he couldn't survive without it.
John is a dear friend to all that have had the privelage to get to know him. He is also a wonderful husband to his wife Kay Stapleton and a caring father to his son Johnny. We are reaching out to our community for support. As you may know, the costs associated with a liver transplant are astronomical, and our friend simply cannot shoulder this burden alone. That's why we are asking for your help in raising the funds necessary to help cover the cost of this life-saving procedure. Kay will need to stay up in Palo Alto for six to eight weeks and housing is only partially covered by insurance plus they won't be able to work through this time. Every dollar will go directly towards helping our friend receive the transplant that he so desperately needs. Please consider making a donation today, and please share this message with your friends and family. Together, we can make a real difference in the life of someone who needs our help. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Ian and Tami Charnley
