John Thomas Sternadel, 42, of Breckenridge, Texas passed away on April 23, 2022 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge, Texas. Services will be Wednesday, April 27th at 2pm in the Chapel of Melton Kitchens Funeral Home.
John Thomas Sternadel was born September 8, 1979 in Breckenridge, Texas by Dr. Ford, whom he was named after. He graduated from Breckenridge High School Class of 1998. John was a loving father, brother, son, and uncle. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers and University of Texas fan in all sports. When the weather was cooperating, he was outdoors. He loved to travel especially in his home state of Texas. He was great at setting goal and meeting them with great determination. John was an active supporter of the Rise Discipleship in Abilene, Texas. John attended The Lighthouse Church in Breckenridge, Texas.
John is survived by his parents Robert and Joetta Wilkinson and Judy Wilkinson and Pilar Sr all of Breckenridge, Texas; his two sons, Matthew Sternadel of Breckenridge, Texas and Kameron Sternadel of Aubrey, Texas; one daughter, Kaylee Sternadel of Breckenridge, Texas; two sisters, Christina Burkett of Brownwood, Texas and Mary Jenkins and her husband, Freddie, of Corbin, KY; four brothers, Richard Wilkinson and fiancé Gneta Lynch of Graham, Texas, Ricky Nelson and wife, Chasity of Breckenridge, Texas, Bobby Sternadel and wife, Angel of Breckenridge; Jimmy Sternadel of Amarillo, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousin who loved him dearly.
Donations can be made to the GoFundMe account set up to assist with funeral cost in lieu of flowers. It is hard to prepare for a funeral, especially when it is sudden and at such a young age. Anything will help the family with this unexpected cost. Every dollar is truly appreciated and will be a tremendous help.
