John Tang's Injury Relief Fund

My name is Alan and I wanted to set this up for my childhood friend, John Tang.
He works in construction and was working on a bridge on 6/16/23 when he fell from a height of about 30' to 40' to the ground. He blacked out upon impact and when he regained consciousness he found that he couldn't get up. The work site where he was injured was a new location and he had to wait for an extended period before EMS could reach him.
Once he arrived at the hospital the doctors provided him with an X-ray and it was discovered that he had broken his hip, and fractured his lower ribs and parts of his spine. If you look closely at the photo below, you will notice that the point where the leg joint meets with his hip was crushed inward.
I wanted to set this up for him because I know he wouldn't ask for this kind of thing himself. He is a kind man with a fiancee and two little girls, one of which was born recently. He is a hard worker and typically works overtime to provide for his young and budding family. Although now, he can't go to work, is bed-ridden and can't even hold his newborn without it putting too much pressure on his spine, hip and skeletal structure.
I thought I should set this up because I'm worried about how he might provide for his family in-the-near future because even on worker's compensation, he would only receive 80% of his original paycheck, which doesn't include the overtime he would work and since his wife gave birth fairly recently, she would need to take care of the home, the children and john.
All of this might put a lot of mental pressure & stress on the family and I thought it was best that if people knew, they could choose to support him in this difficult situation.
He is set to recover within 6 months but until then I hope that he and his family recover from this event. Anyone who would like to support him and his family during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
