John Thompson Family

On June 12, 2019, John Thompson had a heart attack which led to a triple bypass surgery on Friday, June 14th.  After the surgery he suffered multiple complications, including issues breathing, and was put on a ventilator to stabilize his breathing.  Shortly after he was put in a paralytic state.  He then was hooked up to an ECMO, which was done to oxygenate the blood.   He had to have 31 units of blood during that process and after. John is now awake but due to being in a paralytic state for so long,  he is struggling to regain full muscle control.  Doctors have said John may be unable to work for about 6-8 months.  John is married to Glenda Thompson, and they have 13 year old twin girls still living at home. This fundraiser is to help raise money to support John and his family, until he has fully recovered and is able to go back to work.  He still has a long road ahead, but has been making wonderful progress.
