John Tobias Jr.
Donation protected
With the most immense heartache, I must share the passing of my dad, John Tobias Jr.; He was 57 years old. He was married to my mom, Susan Tobias, for 33 years. He had three daughters, myself and my older sister, Katie (30) and my younger sister Molly (24).
My dad was the hardest working person that I knew. He was always going out of his way to take care of others. He loved to laugh and, more importantly, loved having fun! Dad loved hunting and fishing and being with his family and friends. On Thursday, Dad suffered a heart attack and was taken into emergency surgery. He fought until Friday night when things took a turn for the worse, and they had to go back in; he never made it back out. My heart is breaking for my mom and sisters and my daughter, his favorite Brinn Brinn, who he called Pappy's girl.
My goal is to help my mom with the financial burden of my dad's hospital bills from being in the ICU and providing services and any food needs. We have loved hearing all of the stories about his high school and college days these past couple of days. If you would like to make a donation or share a story here, please do! Dad talked to everyone he met. He stopped and talked to total strangers. He was the guy who would sit down next to you on the airplane and ask you where you were going.
I could say so many things about my dad; I'm sure many of you have stories! Please feel free to share in the comments below in remembrance of my dad, John Tobias Jr. (March 29, 1965- July 29, 2022)
