John Valerio aka Joelito

I am Elkis Valerio, John Valerio's oldest sister. On Friday, April 7th, 2023 John took his last breath, leaving the family heartbroken and in deep sorrow. John was born with a medical condition called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB) is a rare condition that causes fragile, blistering skin.

The blisters may appear in response to minor injury, even from heat, rubbing or scratching. In severe cases, the blisters may occur inside the body, such as the lining of the mouth or stomach.

Epidermolysis bullosa is inherited, and it usually shows up in infants or young children. Some people don't develop symptoms until they're teens or young adults.

Epidermolysis bullosa has no cure, but mild forms may improve with age. Treatment focuses on caring for blisters and preventing new ones.

John passed away due to (RDEB) and other complications with organ failures.

The family would like to say our last goodbyes with a small mass. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of John's funeral. We need to raise the funds as soon as possible to afford the funeral service.

Thank you all in advance for the support and condolences.
