John Witherspoon College Support Fund

John Witherspoon College (JWC) is an accredited, financially accessible, classical Christian college in Rapid City, South Dakota. The JWC alumni are asking for supporters of Christian higher education to consider donating any financial support they might are able to provide to the college. JWC is a fairly young college, so we do not have the luxury of an extensive alumni donor network. We also do not accept federal funds as we do not want to be beholden to political agendas.

JWC is currently at a critical stage regarding its future, and we need your help. In an age where colleges have often become breeding grounds for anti-biblical worldviews, JWC provides its students with a rigorous and quality Christian education that not only demands academic excellence but also proclaims the truths of the Christian faith. We unapologetically have set our foundation of knowledge on the Word of God.

Christian institutions of learning – particularly the smaller institutions – have been closing across our nation due to a lack of support. JWC has strove to ensure the best education at the lowest costs to our students so that every student can graduate debt free. We have consistently worked on as small a budget as possible so the tuition costs can remain lower than most community colleges. But this has come at the cost of financial pressures and difficulties.

JWC is the result of countless prayers and service by those who wish to see our region and our nation blessed with a biblically-sound college education with affordable tuition. Since its founding, JWC has received accreditation and continued with its goal of forming active Christian learners and thinkers. JWC has been a blessing to each of its alumni, and we desire to see JWC continue to impact the culture, community, and world with not only a deep knowledge, but also the light of Christ.
