John Woodall - Hit & Run recovery

On behalf of John Woodall and his family, we are creating a GoFundMe to help with his road to recovery. On January 1st, John was walking home from downtown Sarasota and got hit by a car. The driver, only 16 years old, left John in the middle of the road. John saved himself by rolling to the sidewalk, where a witness flagged the cops down. John sustained unimaginable injuries, including a ‘windswept’ broken pelvis that detached from his spine, a broken leg in 3 places with his leg externally outside of his body, and internal bleeding around his lungs and pelvis. This was major trauma to his body, and we are just so lucky to still have him with us!

As of today, 1/15, John is out of the Trauma ICU. He has a long road to recovery and your donation will help John on his rehabilitation journey. We are grateful for every text, phone call, prayer, and healing thought you've sent us.
