Johnard goes to the SCHOOL AT STEPPENWOLF

This has been a long time coming for me! After my third attempt in pursuing the School at Steppenwolf as a source of education post-BFA, I FINALLY GOT IN! This means a lot to me at this point in my life, as 2018 was a really hard and eye-opening year for me.  Though I have had the opportunity to work with several theatres in the city, 2018 asked me to stop acting for a bit and take a close and thorough look at my life and what was important to me. How I wanted to navigate my way as an actor and through life. I don’t believe that it was a coincidence that I was accepted at this stage of what will be lifelong development. 

I am asking for financial assistance because the majority of this will come out of pocket. The program will take place from June 3rd-August 9th and will reduce the amount that I can work exponentially.  I also will be moving in the middle of the program (another battle to overcome .) I’ve got the deposit, which secures my spot, and now I’ve gotta save for a move and living expenses/bills while I attempt to tackle an all encompassing program.  This is a hard time to be doing the program, but is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make. I appreciate any and all help from you guys.
