Hello, my name is Savannah. I am the oldest sister of John. As many of you know John fought a LONG and hard battle with his Crohn’s disease for most of his life. This disease took a toll on his young body and as a result of a domino effect, he developed something called HLH. In layman’s terms, with this disease the white blood cells (histiocytes and lymphocytes) build up in and damage organs which is ultimately responsible for my baby brothers passing.

My baby brother fought long, he fought hard, he fought without fear, but God had other plans for him.

John took his last breath on 3/14/23 at 3:14 am, surrounded by myself and our family.

This loss has left us with the devastating reality of having to plan my baby brothers funeral.

That is the main reason for creating this GoFundMe page. All donations will go towards sending my baby brother off with the most beautiful service possible while also assisting our mother with the expenses that don’t stop while she is taking an obvious break from her job.

All donations are appreciated. If you knew John then you know that he was the most giving man. John always put others before himself, even at his sickest moments, John thought about others— all the way until the end.
