John and Jeannie Danker Family

In late January, John Danker’s family, friends, Buckeye Nation and Medtronic lost an amazing man. Sadly, tragedy struck this wonderful family again when John’s wife Jeannie passed away from COVID-19. Together, John and Jeannie were a fierce duo who brought so much joy, love, fun and dedication to all who knew them. As a representative for Medtronic, John worked countless hours tirelessly to help patients in any way he could. He did so quietly as to never bring any attention to himself. As the Director of Radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Jeannie was also incredibly selfless and dedicated when it came to doing everything needed to help patients, her staff and the administration to be the best they could be. She did this with as much energy and commitment as possible. Jeannie was never one to back down! And you rarely saw Jeannie without her Scarlet and Gray!

 

John’s quiet demeanor and Jeannie’s fierce wit made them a couple that everyone wanted to spend time with, especially at their notorious Ohio State Football tailgates. Rain or shine, they were there with all their friends and family to celebrate what was sure to be an OSU victory! John and Jeannie leave behind the 2 most treasured people in their lives-their daughter’s Jill and Jenny. On top of the unimaginable grief they are dealing with they also have the burden of handling the expenses of the sudden passing of both parents. Please help us help Jill and Jenny during this unbelievably difficult time. All proceeds will go directly to John and Jeannie’s wonderful daughters to help them get through this horrible grieving process.
