Johnny is Sick. Need Help with Bills

Hello! I am Mary. I cannot go into great detail as to how my husband has become sick for legal reasons. Yet, it is serious and likely to be a lifelong issue. As of right now, he is having extreme difficulty breathing with many other side-effects. So far in 14 days, we have been to the ER twice, primary care twice, and a pulmonologist. He still has many tests to go through. Meanwhile, while all of this is transpiring he is not working so he has no income coming in. Also there are issues with the short term disability insurance so none of that is coming in either. I start a new job on May 1st but don't know when I will receive my first paycheck. To date, due to this, we are out right around $10,000 and have next to nothing left. Our management company lumps our rent and utilities into one total we have to pay. The amount shown reflects what we owe for May. Our landlord will not work with us to any degree despite our perfect rental history, three of those years with them. We have already sold some items but cannot come near what we owe for rent and have been unsuccessful with rental assistance organizations (I have tried five so far.) Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated so we don't get kicked out of our home during all of this.
