Johnny Miller and his family are in a war fighting

rare cancer, Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of cancer that starts in

cells that grow into skeletal muscle cells. The cells

are called rhabdomyoblasts. Unfortunately, this is an

aggressive cancer that has quickly spread throughout

his body. This was not the holiday surprise any family

Wished for and now they need the power of prayer

from all believers to assist with the day-to-day battles

as they work to fight this war against the evil of cancer.

He is beginning a 16-month trial through John

Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. This

is a three and a half hour drive from their home

requiring extensive travel for his care for a long time

to come. As a 14-year-old, he is now unable to attend

school with his friends or be active in his beloved

hobbies such as basketball. At this point we will be focusing on providing Johnny with the best quality of life that we can.

The Miller family will incur extensive medical costs

associated with his care that will not be covered by

health insurance. Please consider contributing to this

und to assist with the financial burden so they

concentrate on Johnny's care. Johnny has his ports in

place and is ready to begin chemotherapy and

radiation, we pray for relief from the tumors and the

pain that they cause.

Johnny is brave and has a great attitude that we know
