Johnny Saucedo Memorial Fund

Over the past 2 months, Johnny began not feeling well and unlike his normal self. He had flu-like symptoms, with a fever and cold-sweats. One morning while doing his pool route, he passed out. His wife Jenn took him to Doctor’s Hospital, where they diagnosed him with “dehydration” and sent him home. Over the next month, he would continue working hard despite how sick he was feeling. On Wednesday, March 22 after work, he was admitted to the ER at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was diagnosed with an abscess on his liver and sepsis (blood infection). He was unconscious and put on a ventilator and a chest tube, but his body was too sick to put a central line in. The following morning, his health declined as his kidney’s began to not work. Once the central line was put in, he was taken in to have an aspiration procedure. When he came out, doctor’s informed us that he had a 1% chance to live. On Thursday, March 23 at 12:33pm, Johnny’s BP began to drop. Doctor’s were unable to resuscitate him, and informed us that he had passed. He left with family and friends holding his hands. Johnny leaves behind his wife Jennifer, daughter Tyler, son Trace, and step-daughter Raven. He had a wonderful relationship with his father John Sr., brother Ray and sister Sarah, and brother in law Adolf. He leaves behind his biological family in Texas, his Florida family, and countless friends he’s made along the way. He joins his mother Mary and his brother Eddie in heaven.

Anyone who knew Johnny automatically loved him. To know him was to love him. He was fun, funny, silly, goofy, hard-working, and reliable. He always got the job done, and was the first to roll up his sleeves, as well as the last to leave until the job was done. His children loved him. He always boosted everyone’s mood and was the first to get the saddest person to laugh. How we wish he was still here to make us laugh.

No donation is too small. We are uncertain what the future holds, but plan on being their for Jennifer, his children, and family every step along the way. A Florida memorial date is being decided.
