Johnny T. Parker Scholarship Fund

Hi, my name is Yolanda Parker and I am doing a fundraiser in honor of my husband Johnny T. Parker. Johnny lost his life to brain cancer on January 19, 2021. Johnny was in education for 29 years with Milwaukee Public Schools. During his service, he demonstrated unwavering commitment to education. Johnny’s love for children pushed him to work hard at executing his duties and responsibilities to ensure that every student got what they needed to transform into a successful citizen. Johnny believed that all children could reach their full potential if they had the love, support, and resources they needed. His main goal was to develop relationships with students so that he could reach their hearts first, then their minds. Johnny’s last wishes before his death were to assist as many children in need as we possibly could and keeping his memory alive by letting others know how great he was and his many contributions to society. Your donations to this scholarship will assist 5-10 students continue their educational journey and make a difference in the lives of others as Johnny T. Parker did for many.
