Johnny’s Relief Fund

Hello all and thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
Over the past five years I have been a full time student at the Evergreen State College and activist fighting for bodily autonomy and Trans/Intersex rights across the country. As a Black Trans Femme who is the first in their extended family to go to college and get a four year degree. I believe I need to start thinking about what’s next but that also means it’s time for me to get real about my needs.

In the past 2 years I have had to be honest with myself about my disability and restrictions. As someone with a severe case of congenital hip dysplasia I cannot walk extended distances without being in excruciating pain which leads to me being stuck in my bed the next few days.

I am raising $6000 so that I can purchase a car that will allow me to be mobile to make it to my doctors appointments that are in Tacoma and Seattle as well as run errands such as picking up my prescriptions, going grocery shopping, and look for employment that may be outside of the west side of Olympia as I will be a 2020 graduate of the Evergreen State College with my Bachelors in Biology and Culture, Gender, and Sexuality studies and continuing on to a masters program in Social Justice and Community Organizing.
