Johnny's Heart Journey

Johnny Costarell, son of Sean and JoAnna, and brother of Aimee and Ally, has lived with a heart transplant since he was just 3 years old.  Johnny is now 13 years old and has recently faced more heart trouble.  Unfortunately, when Johnny went in for his annual biopsy in March, the doctors ran into severe coronary artery disease with his kidneys taking a big hit as well.  Although Johnny's strength and endurance has amazed us all, we were given the news that he needs a 2nd heart transplant.  As many of you know, this is a very demanding and expensive surgery and process.  While we are very optimistic for Johnny, the financial burden is extremely worrisome.  The Costarell family is asking for friends, family, and the community to come together and help fight this battle.  We have created this GoFundMe as a source to collect donations to help pay for Johnny's overwhelming medical expenses.  We are so grateful for all of the love, support, and prayers throughout Johnny's heart journey.  Thank you and God Bless!
