John Russo's battle vs lymphoma
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
The photo is of John Russo, his friend Pat, his daughter Jen and her husband Tim and their boys Jake and AJ . John was diagnosed with large B cell lymphoma in 2012, after treatment and a short remission the lymphoma came back in 2014. Toward the end of 2014 he went through chemo and a stem cell transplant. There was much hope that he would be 'reborn' with clean cells and be on the road to a long remission. Now today, only 7 months after the stem cell transplant John's lymphoma has returned. He is facing this set back with support from family and friends, positive thinking, prayer, and a 'will' made of granite and a heart of gold. He is currently at University Hospital where his team of doctors are putting a treatment plan together.
John has touched many lives during the 17 years we have coached together (Hawken, Nordonia, Beaumont, and Cleveland Heights), years he coached before we met, and numerous summer softball practices and games.
I am reaching out to all of you to do what you can to help John. We can make a difference through donating and prayer, and please share this to your FB friends. We can all line up with him and help John fight this current battle. Thank you in advance for lifting him up in your thoughts and prayers! If you have questions please IM me.
