John's Emergency Retina Surgery

Help my best friend, John Osthimer, with his emergency retina surgery. This week, he started seeing spots, then a blanket of shade covered his vision. Turns out his retina got detached, and he needs to have emergency surgery.  John is self employed and has very limited insurance that doesn't cover the cost, and he needs to come up with almost $15,000 out of pocket!
