John Fee's Lifesaving Liver Transplant Expenses

Donation protected
Hello! I am Hailey Davis and some dear friends of mine are in need of some support! I've seen our community pull together and work wonders to lessen the difficulty for those going through a hard time, so I'm hoping we can do it again!
John Fee was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease and is in dire need of a transplant! John was diagnosed with fatty liver disease over a decade ago. He has been monitored yearly by his gastroenterologist and until recently he has gone all this time with no symptoms whatsoever. Unfortunately in September of 2023, a visit to the ER revealed that he has non-alcohol related cirrhosis. He immediately contacted Vanderbilt and has been seeing a Hepatologist/Transplant Specialist ever since. His condition, however, has deteriorated rapidly and he is in need of an immediate liver transplant. He has family members who have so graciously applied to be living donors. This is a long process, but if all goes well and one of these potential donors is a "match," Vanderbilt will be able to perform this lifesaving surgery very soon.

As many of you know, John is a construction superintendent for Chris Woods Construction in Memphis. Going to Memphis every day has been his life for so long. He truly loves his job! But since his liver disease has progressed, he has been unable to work, which adds financial strain to an already difficult situation. Even with insurance, the cost of some medications and procedures are astronomical. Once the transplant is complete, John and his wife, Jennifer will be required to live within one hour of Vanderbilt Hospital for 30 days. The medical bills, future rehabilitation, costs, household costs, and the expenses of relocating to be near the hospital will no doubt take a toll on John and his family.

He is a loving husband, a Daddy, a Pappy, a son, a son-in-law, a brother, and a friend to many. He is so deserving of a chance at health and happiness.

We hope and pray for all of this to be behind him one day soon.

I humbly ask you to donate whatever you can if you can to help my sweet friends. No donation is too small!

If you're unable to donate at the moment, please keep John, Jennifer, HIS DONOR, and all that love them your thoughts and prayers.
