This page has been set up by family and friends to help raise funds to support John Rawlins who was diagnosed in October 2016 with MND (Motor Nurone Disease ).
John’s been dealing with the effects of MND for a while which includes weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.
John already needs a motoried wheel chair and his bathroom coverted in to a wet room and further adaptations to his house will be needed over the coming months. So time is very much of the essence...
Raising funds to help with the additional costs that John is going to incur will help take away some of the worry he is facing and get things like the wheel chair and building works to hopefully happen a bit more quickly for him!
All donations will be of course be gratefully received by John and help his quality of life.
