this in loving memory of Johnson Christian.

on the 3rd of August 2024 my dad passed away with his diagnosis of Lewy body dementia .

what is Lewy body dementia?

Lewy body dementia is the second most common type of dementia after Alzheimer's disease. Protein deposits called Lewy bodies develop in nerve cells in the brain. The protein deposits affect brain regions involved in thinking, memory and movement.

my dad was only diagnosed with the disease in February this year and was given 4years from July . My dad only lived 6 months after diagnosis it has been the most heart breaking experience to watch someone decline so quickly, mostly with no real help or support from the nhs … his death has come to us as shock , as the time frame given was a lot shorter than expected.

my dad was kind , funny , wise, loving and the sweetest man , that words couldn’t even describe with a strong work ethic , family oriented and very moving personality.

we are kindly asking for any donations big or small to help him get him the burial his kind soul deserves !
