A Second Chance — A Powerful Dream

After years of hardship and injustice, Adam Ashby is finally stepping into the next chapter of his life — one filled with hope, purpose, and determination.

Adam, a U.S. Navy veteran and former Colorado Police Officer of the Year, dedicated his life to serving and protecting his country and community. But during a time of national turmoil and anti-police sentiment, Adam found himself at the center of a political firestorm. In a situation where he was forced to defend himself against an imminent threat, Adam’s actions were mischaracterized by the media and misrepresented in the courtroom. Under intense public pressure, prosecutors pursued a narrative that ignored key evidence, resulting in a wrongful conviction.
Adam's case was marked by alarming irregularities, including hidden evidence, suppressed reports, perjured testimony, and even allegations of jury tampering. Despite these issues, Adam spent nearly a decade imprisoned for an act that should have been recognized as lawful self-defense. His fight for full exoneration continues today in the federal courts.

Now that Adam has finally been released to a halfway house, he is working to rebuild his life — and he needs your help.

While incarcerated, Adam found a new purpose: to open a custom motorcycle fabrication shop, combining his passion for craftsmanship with his commitment to service. But this vision goes even further. Adam’s dream is to create a business that hires and mentors former inmates who are searching for a second chance — and to build a place where former officers and former inmates can come together over a shared love of motorcycles, proving that respect, hard work, and common ground can bridge even the deepest divides.
But Adam cannot do this alone.

Your support will help Adam take the first steps toward this dream by:

  • Providing stable housing and covering basic necessities as he reintegrates into society,

  • Securing essential tools, equipment, and workspace for the motorcycle shop,

  • Laying the foundation for a business dedicated to second chances, unity, and hope.

This fundraiser is about much more than one man — it's about building a future where those who have been wronged, and those who have stumbled, have the opportunity to forge a new and meaningful path. Let’s turn tragedy to hope for men whom need a helping hand reintegrating into society.
