***UPDATE AS OF 5/29/24*** 

We are thrilled to say that Adlees surgery to remove the tumor and one of her kidneys went better than expected. She is healing well from the surgery and it has been determined that she does not need to undergo radiation. Adlee had her first round of chemotherapy last week and will have her next treatment tomorrow, so far she has had minimal reactions. 

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers. My name is Mandee Sharp, I am Lacey Framptons cousin (although she has been more of a sister to me throughout our lives).

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for Lacey and Kadens daughter, Adlee. Adlee, a bright and cheerful two-year-old, was recently diagnosed with a Wilms tumor, a rare form of kidney cancer.

Adlee’s Diagnosis and Treatment Plan:

Adlee’s diagnosis came as a shock to our family. She has always been a lively and energetic child, full of laughter and joy. The discovery of the tumor has led their family down a path of numerous hospital visits, tests, and now, a rigorous treatment plan that includes surgery, chemotherapy, and potentially radiation therapy. The doctors are optimistic about her recovery, but the road ahead is long and fraught with medical expenses and long travel.

The Impact on the family:

We want nothing more than to see Adlee live healthy and happy again. The emotional toll is immense. Lacey recently transitioned to a new job, during the transition is when Adlee was diagnosed with a tumor. Unfortunately, Lacey was the primary policy holder for their health insurance and was between coverage when Adlee needed to go into surgery to have the tumor removed. Both Lacey and Kaden work full time and now will need to be home more to assist with doctors appointments and Adlees needs as she will no longer be able to go to daycare. This situation has placed a significant financial strain on them, as they face mounting medical bills and additional costs associated with Adlee’s care.
