Hi, my name is Alex. A normal day turned into a nightmare when I was shot in both of my legs. I was simply trying to get cash from an ATM. I was at a shopping center with a friend planning to grab some food when I was told I couldn’t use my card. I walked over to withdraw cash. That’s when everything changed in an instant.

The bullet shattered my ability to walk normally leaving me in pain and struggling with basic movements because of this I’ve had to put my college education on hold and no longer work to support myself. The physical, emotional and financial burden has been overwhelming.
