Join Aliyah in Coffee's Rescue Journey

Hi my name is Aliyah and I’m trying to raise funds for my rescue pups medical expenses. His name is Coffee and I rescued him back in December. We found him in the streets of Allapattah in the pouring rain and could not help but to stop and take him home. We took him to a vet and found out he was chipped, got the owners info and contacted him. His response was “I won’t be back in Miami for another month, just let him go and he’ll find his way home” he could have really cared less and basically left Coffee to fend for himself. I took him in despite being allergic to dogs because I just could not fathom leaving him out on the street again or dropping him off at a shelter.

Initially I wanted to eventually find him another home, but I fell in love with him and became attached.

I am not originally from Miami. I moved here 2 years ago to start over and haven’t spoken to my family since leaving my hometown. Coffee’s company and love has helped me tremendously and to me, he is now my family.

I arrived home from work to my apartment covered in blood and vomit and immediately started panicking and without even worrying about cleaning up the mess, took him to the nearest vet.

Unfortunately, the cost of the treatment is more than I can manage alone.
