Calling on all Prayer Warriors, Analyn (Annie/Mimi) Bailey needs an army of God's children to rise up on her behalf. Our beautiful Annie has bravely fought a fierce battle against Peritoneal cancer ( cancer of the tissue that lines the abdominal wall and covers most of the organs in the abdomen) for the past 7 years. The last 7 years have been brutally hard on Annie and her body but she has continued to fight her disease diligently. God has walked with her through a very dark and painful path but she has continued to persevere and fight. She has inspired so many of us with her signature grace and grit personality coupled with her great sense of humor. In the past few years her Primary Oncologist has called Annie a "star patient", who has beat all the odds that have been stacked against her. Annie has continued to fight this ugly cancer unwaveringly because she wants to be here with her husband of 44 years Brant Bailey, her 3 wonderful kids and their spouses, Tirzah, Barrett, Brianne (her oldest son Ben passed away from brain cancer in 2020) and her 7 precious grand babies. Annie is currently in the hospital fighting for her life. During the middle of October she suffered a stroke. Since her stroke she has been in 8 facilities including hospitals, ER's and rehabs. She has not been able to come home as she has progressively gotten worse and has suffered many complications. This past week her family got the devastating news that the reason that she had a stroke was because her Peritoneal cancer has metastasized to her brain and spinal fluid and most recently into her lungs. She now has Leptomeningeal disease which happens when cancer cells spread to the cerebrospinal fluid or meninges, which are the protective tissue layers surrounding the brain and spinal cord. She is not communicating much any more but she has communicated to loved ones that she wants to keep fighting. Mr. Bailey and Brianne have been working tirelessly with the hospitals, treatment centers and medical professionals to research all of their options. They are fighting for her and are praying that God would open a door where there seems to be no way. This week her children have gathered around her bedside in the hospital. The family has asked for prayers and support.
We need PRAYER WARRIORS to rise up and PRAY for ANNIE!
Pray for God's will to be done.
Pray for miraculous healing inside Annie's brain, spine, lungs and abdominal wall.
Pray for wisdom for the Doctors, Nurses and anyone who cares for her.
Pray for Annie to feel God's powerful presence within her body, mind and spirit during her suffering.
Pray for deep peace in her soul and that God would cover Annie and her family under His wings.
Pray for direction for Mr. Bailey as he navigates so many hard decisions.
Pray for deep rest and sleep for the family.
Pray that Annie would not fear but that she would feel God's presence all around her and within her.
Pray for financial provision to help with the large amount of medical bills that are flowing in.
Pray that God's people would step up and help lighten the load for Mr. Bailey and his children.
Pray that God would speak to people's hearts about how they can support the Bailey family.
Pray that God would open the flood gates of heaven on their behalf.
Pray that Annie's life and story would impact many for Christ.
Pray for comfort.
Pray about whether you should donate towards her GoFundMe page or help in another way.
Annie believes in the mighty power of prayer so please PRAY!
Please share her story and ask others to PRAY!
Here is how you can help financially. The Bailey's are looking into bringing her home eventually and she will need 24/7 care. The type of care that she will need is not covered by Medicare. Mr. Bailey had a consultation fee of $2,300 this week and was told that it will cost roughly $34.00 an hour for a home aide. The cost of 24/7 care can hit staggering amounts. They are looking into aggressive treatments, immunotherapy and are trying to get her into a new facility that specializes in rare cancer cases. The medical costs may reach $25,000+ a month. We don't want Mr. Bailey to have to stress about how he will pay for the treatment and care that Annie needs. He is currently still working his job while traveling back and forth to the hospital each day to be with his wife. Please help lighten the heavy burden that is upon his back. The funds received will go towards all of Annie's medical bills and future treatment and care. Mr. Bailey has shared that if God decides to call Annie home to heaven then the GoFundMe donations would be used to help pay off medical bills and then the rest would go towards buying a burial plot and funeral/memorial expenses for his beloved. We have chosen a goal of $71,000 in honor of her 7 years of fighting cancer but also because one of her favorite Bible verses is Psalm 71. Her expenses may very well exceed this goal but we are trusting that God will provide whatever He wills.
Please pray about how you might help Annie and her family in their time of need.
One of Annie's favorite Bible verses is Psalm 71:17-20-NIV
17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.18 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.
19 Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens, you who have done great things. Who is like you, God?20 Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.
All donations will go directly to Annie's husband, Brant Bailey through his daughter Brianne Bailey's account. Brianne is controlling the donations so that their Dad can focus on their mom
