Join Brett Smith's Fight for Healing

As many of you know Brett Smith, my 20 year old son, was in a terrible car accident on June 17, 2024. Many have asked how to donate so I've created this GoFundMe to make things easier. God has been so good and brought him through something he sould not have survived, if you see the car you would understand. After being Med Flighted to Huntsville Hospital all while unconscious, it was discovered he sustained a brain bleed/swelling(which has healed), a clot (which was removed), a crushed skull (which may/may not affected his hearing), a broken scapula (which is healing while he's on bed rest), a broken neck (which they have done surgery on including a titanium rod and pins and fusing another disc), however that injury left him without the use of the fine motor skills in his hands and limited use of diaphragm (which is used for the deep breathing we do, leaving him on the vent), and a significant back injury (which left him without the use of his legs), He has spent 18 days in Neuro ICU. He has beaten every single odd thrown against him and continues to fight every single day! You can keep up with his journey on my Facebook page Michelle Mooney Smith. He has approved for a transfer to the Shepherd Rehab facility in Atlanta GA for his next leg of his journey. We have both been out of work and will continue to be until he is walking out of that rehab facility! He will continue to have mounting medical bills, doctor bills, surgery bills, I will have to continue to pay his insurance premium out of pocket until I return to work, his dad missed two weeks of work, and his sister and best friend has spent a small fortune in gas visiting, and the regular household bills will continue for both of us, just because our lives are at a stand still doesn't mean everything else is.
