Join Brian's Effort to Find Marsha Hayes

Hi may name is Andrea. I am trying to fund raise for my friend.

My good friend's mom, Marsha Hayes, went missing on May 22, 2024. Marsha is a local from Lucille, Idaho. When Brian found out she was missing, he and his friend, Clancy, drove from Hillsboro, OR to help locate her. They have spent countless hours talking to locals, the sheriff's department and companies that have cameras that may have sited her driving by.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday, several vehicle parts and license plate located along the Salmon River were confirmed to belong to Marsha Hayes.

Lewiston Tribune released an article stating “The sheriff’s office has terminated the search for her vehicle and will be focusing on recovery efforts from the river as conditions allow.” However the family has been in contact with multiple sources to continue the search outside of the Sheriff’s department.

As you can imagine, missing work, buying gas to get from Hillsboro, OR to Riggins, ID multiple times, equipment they are buying to try and search the river for his mom is quite expensive. We are asking anyone that can help to donate. No amount is too small and every little bit helps.

Funds collected would be used for the following:

-Travel costs: The drive to Riggins from Hillsboro is a 7.5 hour drive and driving along the river to continue the search. They have already made the trip twice and will need to continue once Marsha has been found.

- Both Brian and Clancy are self-employed with no bereavement or PTO leave to support their loss of income for the two weeks they were gone searching.

-Material costs: Clancy is an engineer created devices to assist in the search.
