Celebration of life for Cedric Thomas.

To my dearest Friends, Families, and Compassionate Community Members,

For those that may not know me, my name is Cedric Thomas. I am reaching out to assist in my journey in participating in a newer procedure, Nanoknife, that kills more pronounced tumors as a result of stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.

This cancer has taken away so much from me and my family, in a matter of 6 months from when I first found out what was going on. Since then, instead of being able to enjoy running up and down the court, coaching my son, supporting my daughter and being the provider of my family, my life has stopped completely. I have been dealing with the process of undergoing extensive chemo treatments to try and shrink the tumors and visits to many specialists to get ahead of what has already been seen to be stage IV. The results of the chemo have left me at times unable to perform basic tasks such as walking, bathing, or eating. This treatment is still not a guarantee.

The reason I have the GoFundMe is to help with medical costs related to this potentially life-saving procedure. I have been blessed to find Dr. Donoway, an oncologist in Florida that offers a procedure called Nanoknife, that will help to extend my life by removing the tumors through electrifying it.

Over the past few months, I have been truly blessed to have family and friends to encourage me, provide meals, when I can eat, and any other help. My family have now become dedicated caregivers for me during this very challenging time.
