Join Chase in Supporting Alcona's Children

My name is Darlene Ramey and I co-pastor the Solid Rock Church of God with my husband Wayne.  We live in Harrisville, MI. We have pastored here for 4 years.

My 8-year-old grandson Chase was with us for a visit and saw the Alcona Schools across the street from our house. After he went home, my daughter-in-law called to tell me Chase wanted to throw a lunch for all the kids in the school. He wanted to do something nice for them.

Fast forward to today, we want to bring Chase's wish to fruition by having a free community event for the children of Alcona County, Lincoln MI.

We have named it 'Kids just wanna have fun' because we realize kids need to be kids. There will be 3 bounce houses, face painting, and more. We would also like to have pony rides.

We will provide the families with a summer lunch.

We are also wanting to collect school supplies for the teachers who are always taking from their own pockets to help the underprivileged children in our community. Our teachers don't make a lot and if there is a way that we can help, we want to. Please help us, 'Stuff the Bus'.

Chase does not have the money to put this together and frankly neither does our little church, but we want this to happen for Chase and the children, teachers of Alcona.

Chase doesn't want to let the lack of money prevent him from doing something for the kids like him.

We have set August 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the event date. We have the date and time set but still lack the funds to pull it off, which is why I started this GoFundMe account. This event is for the children in the Alcona County school district. Please help us, so that we can help the children.
