Hello, everyone! Our family friend, Diana, will be journeying to Brazil this January as part of an intersession program with Johns Hopkins University. Although this opportunity is worthwhile on its own, this trip will also directly enrich Diana's education in remarkable ways. She is currently majoring in Medicine, Science & the Humanities with a concentration in Latin American studies and a minor in Latin American Studies with a focus in Portuguese language and Brazilian Culture. It will allow her to immerse herself in the vibrant culture and language of Brazil, providing a deeper understanding of the subjects that she is passionate about. She will have a unique opportunity to do this, seeing as she will be staying with a Brazilian host family.

She still has $2,800 remaining of her original $8,000 due before November 24th in order to make this trip possible. Because she is the very first in her family to finish secondary education and to attend university, your contribution will make a huge difference in her academic journey.
